On the 8th September 1918 while serving in france Walter Lee was "injured in performance of [?] duty & not to blame"
"On Sept 8 a tin of petrol caught fire and burned patient on both arms, legs and face"
He was transfered back to England and discharged from hostpital on 6th December 1918 . He was later award a gratuity of 30 pounds for a 1% disability.
